Each year, the Sankofa Foundation awards scholarships to distinguished, college-bound African-American males. These award recipients are recognized at the Alpha Legacy Scholarship Gala. Since 1997, our non-profit organization has awarded multiple scholarships each year — all funded from generous supporters of the Alpha Legacy Celebration and various fundraising initiatives like the "All Black Affair".

We continuously strive to grow our scholarship awards, as well as funding, to assist with our various initiatives that encourages education, building self-esteem and promoting good citizenship. We ask that you please consider making an investment in the youth by supporting our event as a sponsor. Your support is fully tax deductible and will be of tremendous assistance to our scholarship recipients and other community beneficiaries.
