Honor our fellow Brother Dr. Martin Luther King’s legacy by attending the Garland MLK Parade & March on Saturday, January 18, 2025.
- We will gather at 8:30 am at the Garland Granville Arts Center, Downtown Garland, 300 N. 5th Street (the end location of the parade).
- We will leave this location at 9:30 and head to Austin Academy (GISD school).
- The parade will start at 10:00 a.m. at Austin Academy, 1125 Beverly Drive. Xi Tau Lambda will be numbers 14 and 15 in the lineup.
We are walking in the parade with Alpha signs, voter registration cards, and the Alpha banner. Dress according to the weather in Fraternity colors. Be sure only to bring individually wrapped candy to hand out.

Following the parade, stay for “Freedom’s Symphony,” the musical celebration, starting at noon at the Granville Arts Center (300 N. Austin St., Garland, TX).
